Who she was
Charlotte Niddam was fifteen, mature beyond her years and deeply caring. A fiercely loyal friend, she had a rare gift for building bridges between people and forging connections where there were none.
Her multicultural background made her open-minded, attentive to others and drawn to friendships across borders. Radiant and always up for fun, she found happiness in the small moments of everyday life. She loved life intensely and, above all, she knew how lucky she was and never took an opportunity for granted.

Her bright life was cut short in the fire at Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana. Charlotte leaves behind an immense void. Her loss also leaves us with a mission: she never had the chance to fulfil her potential.

Carrying her light forward
Carrying her light forward
Because she knew how precious luck is, her family created the Charlotte Niddam Foundation to turn her memory into action. In her name, we give the most vulnerable young people the means to thrive and build their future, so that circumstance no longer stands between them and a fair chance.
We will keep passing on her light: her gift for bringing people together, for spreading happiness, for brightening other people’s lives.

‘She always listened to those around her, with endless kindness.’
